Directions

From Bury St Edmunds:

Take A134 towards Sudbury. At the roundabout at the end of the Long Melford bypass take the first exit onto still on the A134 towards Colchester.  At the next two roundabouts (either side of Tesco filling station) take the second exit and at the next rondabout (McDonalds) take the second exit also.

At the next roundabout (KFC) take the second exit onto Shawlands Avenue and then take the 10th turning on the right into Canhams Road (signposted Sports Centre).  Pass the Highbury Barn pub on your left and then take the next left into Wells Hall Road.

Pass two schools on your right before turning right into Blackhouse Lane (signposted Country Park and Cornard United).  The car park and ground is a short distance on the right-hand side.

From Colchester:

Take A134 towards Sudbury.  Once you leave the village of Newton take the first turning on the left (signposted Cornard Tye and Golf Driving Range).  Follow the road to Great Cornard and a t-junction.  At the t-junction turn right then immediately left into Canhams Road.  Pass the Highbury Barn pub on your left and then take the next left into Wells Hall Road.

Pass two schools on your right before turning right into Blackhouse Lane (signposted Country Park and Cornard United).  The car park and ground is a short distance on the right-hand side.

From Bures:

Take B1508 towards Sudbury.  Pass the Willowmere Caravan Park on your right in Little Cornard and then take the next right into Blackhouse Lane.  The ground is approximately half a mile on the left-hand side.

From Halstead:

Take A131 towards Sudbury.  Pass straight over the traffic lights as you enter the town and continue into town to join the one way system.  Continue to follow signs for Ipswich/Colchester until you pass Aldi on your left.  then get in the right hand lane and continue straight over the next junction lights and pass Great Waldingfield Garages on your left.  the right hand lane then becomes two lanes and you should take the left of these to reach a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto the B1508 towards Great Cornard and Bures.

Pass a BP garage on your right and Sainsbury’s on your left.  At the next mini-roundabout take the second exit onto Kings Hill to enter Great Cornard.  Continue through the village staying on the B1508 towards Bures until you pass the Brook Pub on your left.  Then take the next left into Blackhouse Lane and the ground is approximately half a mile on the left-hand side.
