AFC Sudbury v Thamesmead Town

AFC started the game well but got caught out in the first five mins with Milo Grimes giving away a penalty which was missed, Sudbury reacted

and started playing good football with a good bit of play finished off by Wayne Blackman. AFC continued to play well but got caught a by a good solo goal from Thamesmead's number 8 drilling the ball from twenty five yards bottom corner. Sudbury responded well and put on the pressure back on Thamesmead by playing good football. A good move around the edge of the box and Liam Wales was brought down leading to a free kick which was put away by Jordan Blackwell. Half time AFC Sudbury 2 Thamesmead 1.

The second half started with Thamesmead putting a bit of pressure on having a fair bit of the ball and creating chances but couldn't break through the resolute Sudbury defence. They got punished by Sudbury getting the ball down and creating Jordan Blackwell's second goal of the game to make it 3-1. Sudbury held onto the lead until full time and picked up another good 3 points. Full time AFC Sudbury 3 Thamesmead 1.
