Worked Hard In Win
A very hard working AFC side defeated their Ipswich Town opponents in a game that saw the home side score three times and had a penalty saved in the second half.
Dave Cowley netted the first goal have three attempts before netting from close range. The second was scored from the penalty spot by a triallist and AFC went in two up at the break.
An early second half goal from Adam Mills saw the home comfortably in control before a goal was conceded scored by Declan Daniels for Ipswich. AFC were awarded a second spot kick but a great save by Harry Wright saw Tevan Allen's kick pushed onto the bar and scrambled away. In the final minutes Wright made two further saves to deny AFC a more emphatic victory.
