Only eighteen years of age, the forward’s only previous club being neighbours Cornard United.
After impressing in pre-season training at the start of the 2010/11 and showing up well in pre-season games the club’s management swiftly signed him up.
In December 2010 he had a short loan spell with FC Clacton before returning to the club and signing a contract until the end of the 2010/11 season. He re-joined at the start of the 2011/12 season however on 9th August 2011 he was loaned out again to the Essex club this time until 13th November 2011 when he returned to the club having made fourteen appearances for The Seasiders.
In December 2011 he was suffering from an injury that prevented him from playing for the club.
