Ware are the penultimate visitors to King’s Marsh in this season’s Bostik North campaign.
They come sitting near the bottom of the table but probably safe from falling through the relegation trap door being six points better off than the bottom two sides, Norwich United and Romford.
The Ware ranks have amongst them a very familair face, midfielder Dave Cowley who has had three separate spells with AFC, including one at the start of this season. He has helped Stowmarket Town to third place in the Thurlow Nunn Premier League before leaving recently to go to the Hertfordshire club.
AFC for their part are still sitting in eleventh position in the Bostik North table with teams around them playing their catch up games.
For the Ware fixture Manager Mark Morsley will have an almost fully fit squad to select from and will be looking for good performances from everyone as he looks towards the 2018/19 season.
the Thurlow Nunn Reserve side do not have agame, while the Essex Senior Reserve side travel to take on Grays Athletic Reserves.
