[/b][/b]THE GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED FROZEN PITCH
It’s onto Maldon and Tiptree for AFC’s Tuesday night fix of Bostik North league football. It is the re-arranged fixture from way back on 15th August when the floodlights failed at Park Drive. At the time the teams were level at a goal apiece.
The AFC side that appeared in that August fixture was somewhat different than the one likely to turn out tomorrow should the game go ahead. Indeed goalkeeper Paul Walker is probably the only player who will start the game with one other on the bench such has been the turnover of players in the AFC squad in four and a half months.
Certainly Manager Mark Morsley was not impressed with the way things went in Saturday’s defeat against Haringey Borough and will make a number changes to the side against ‘The Jammers’.
The Essex side are in eighth place with thirty-two points from twenty games completed, while AFC are in fifteenth place with twenty-four points from their twenty fixtures.
The game is subject to a 10.00am pitch inspection
