Lively Visitors Take The Points

1 month ago By Tony Simpson

Nothing For AFC

The North London visitors came to King’s Marsh and deservedly went back to the Capital with all three points.

They were far more lively than the home side who rarely caused any problems for Haringey in the entire ninety or so minutes.

An early goal from Chris Benjamin set them on their way and the same player doubled their lead early in the second half. The only AFC goal came from the penalty spot eight minutes from time when Joe Whight (pictured) slotted home.

There is no change in the Bostik North table as AFC remain in fifteenth place.

The Reserves away against Holland FC drew 0-0.
