Final inspections were at carried out at grounds over the past weekend to clarify that clubs in contention for promotion had completed the ground improvements that were notified following earlier visits.
Following these ground grading inspections The Football Association has confirmed that the following clubs have met the entry criteria for promotion to Step 4 of the National League System having finished Champions of their respective leagues:- · Enfield Town FC Essex Senior League · Fleetwood Town FC North West Counties League · Goole FC Northern Counties East League · Ilford FC Isthmian League · Potters Bar Town FC Spartan South Midlands League · Ramsgate FC Kent League · Rushall Olympic FC Midland Football Alliance
As there will be a requirement for eight promoted clubs, play-off matches will be played between the following three second placed clubs who have also met the entry standard:- · Didcot Town FC Hellenic League · Enfield FC Isthmian League · Winchester City FC Wessex League
Didcot Town FC and Winchester City FC qualify as their respective leagues did not have an eligible champion club. Enfield FC qualifies as Runner-Up in the Isthmian League Division Two in the final year of an agreement that two clubs from the Isthmian League be considered for promotion.
A draw has taken place to determine the final promotion place. This is as follows:- · Enfield FC v Winchester City FC · Didcot Town FC v Enfield FC or Winchester City FC Dates for play-off matches are to be advised."
