Next Opponents Sign Defender

Zamaretto League Division One Midlands club Slough Town have signed defender Yiadom Yeboah following his release from Zamaretto Premier side Hemel Hempstead Town.

Yeboah’s name will not be too unfamiliar with Rebels` supporters as the giant centre back featured in the Tudors two FA Cup games this season against Slough.

The Ghanaian-born defender’s former clubs include Hampton & Richmond Borough, Northwood and Hayes - where he featured for the Middlesex club in the Conference National.

As well as being an excellent defender, another attribute Yeboah has are his long throw-ins from a standing position which caused the Rebels defence problems in their games against Hemel.

It is hoped that he will fit into the Rebels` ranks quickly, having played with many Slough players before during his time at the Tudors.

Meanwhile, striker Garry Sippetts, who has recently returned to training having been out all season after a freak accident at work which severed his ankle tendons, has joined Molten Spartan South Midlands Leaguers Colney Heath on a month’s loan.

The striker will get some much-needed match fitness before returning for the Rebels end of season run-in.
