McKenzie Gets First Goal For Club

AFC recorded their first league win since March, and the first of the current season as they defeated Brentwood Town 3-0 at King's Marsh.

The win lifts Sudbury up three places in the Bostik North table.

The first half saw AFC have the majority of the play but were unable to get the ball in the back of the net.

The second period again saw the home side the most attacking and they took the lead on sixty-nine minutes when Jake Turner broke the deadlock. Substitute Mekhi McKenzie (pictured) scored his first senior Sudbury goal three minutes later. The points were sealed when the effervescent Adam Mills fired home.

The sponsors, Gt Waldingfield Garages Man of the Match was Adam Mills.

AFC go onto the FA Cup on Saturday and a home tie against Chipstead.
