Well AFC are on the road to Wembley, well actual to Truro City in the Third Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
It’s a long road trip for the players, officials and supporters to Cornwall and they set off by luxury coach at 11.00am on Friday morning. Some supporters however will be leaving Sudbury very early on Saturday morning to make the journey down to the West Country by train.
AFC Caretaker Manager Danny Laws (pictured) takes his side to ‘The White Tigers’, a side that have not been past this stage of the competition previously, looking to make it six straight wins for AFC.
Of course Laws will not be able to select the sides top scorer Adam Mills after his needless sending off last weekend. That will not stop anyone at the club thinking that they cannot pull of some sort of result against a team top of the National League South.
AFC will be confident in their own abilities having won there on their previous visit in the FA Trophy.
Any replay will be at King’s Marsh on Tuesday evening with a 7.45pm kick off.
Both AFC Reserves sides are playing the Essex Senior Reserve side away in cup action at Redbridge Reserves, while the Thurlow Nunn side are playing in the Suffolk Senior Cup against Capel Plough at King’s Marsh Stadium.
