AFC return to Parkside again only a fourteen days since they drew there with owners Aveley. This time it's their tenants Grays Athletic who will provide the opposition.
Manager Mark Morsley will be hoping that his side can break the draw habit having seen their last four games finish all square. This equals the record set between November and December 2013 when four games finished level.
Included in the squad will be new striker Phil Kelly signed earlier in the week from Brightlingsea Regent and he will certainly add much needed experience to a youthful front line. Max Booth is back in the squad after injury and unavailability.
Tyler French and Will Crisell are likely to miss out with ankle and hamstring injuries picked up in the last two games. There are however plenty of young players eager to take their place in the side,
Meanwhile the Reserves are at home to Holland FC .
