“Laws will be able to recall AFC's top scorer Adam Mills”
It's back to Bostik League North action for AFC after their FA Cup exploits at Truro over the weekend that saw some of the travelling pary not return home until 2.15am on Sunday morning.
AFC will still have Caretaker Manager Danny Laws in charge for the home game against Maldon and Tiptree, despite announcing the appointment of Mark Morsley as the club's permanent manager yesterday. He will take the FA Trophy tie at home on Saturday against Aylesbury United as his first game in charge, second time around.
Laws will be able to recall AFC's top scorer Adam Mills, (pictured) eleven goals in twelve games, after he completed his one match suspension on Saturday to play against his former side. Defender Joe Claridge, another ex-Maldon player will line up against the club he played for last season, while another Rhys Henry remains on the injury list.
Maldon and Tiptree visit King's Marsh after a 4-2 home win over Tilbury on Saturday and sit in eighth place in the table with thirteen points from eight games. AFC for their part slipped two places down to fifteenth as other teams played league games on Saturday.
