Hire Facilities Facilities Options
AFC Sudbury has a number of facilities that are available for hire.
In the main clubhouse is The King’s Marsh Suite which is a large function hall that can cater for occasions such as wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthday parties, dinners and many other social events, with plenty of room for a disco or band to set up for dancing. The suite also has a balcony area that overlooks both the function hall and outside onto the grass pitch.
If you require catering for your event we can put you in touch with our experienced proffered caterers, please just ask for our list. If you want to make your event really stand out and require decorations, balloons or a room theme contact Jam Tartz for party & wedding planning, and hire services.
The Laurence Walter Suite, a smaller room with gym flooring where activities such as exercise classes can take place.
In the Grassroots and Community Pavilion there is the Community Room which is a carpeted room suitable for meetings, children’s parties and lectures.
All rooms offer dynamic layouts to suit your personal needs.
The King's Marsh Suite
The King’s Marsh Suite is a large function hall that can cater for occasions such as wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthday parties, dinners and social/business events, with plenty of room for a disco or band to set up for dancing. The suite also has an additional balcony area that overlooks both the clubroom and onto the outside pitch. The room has a sliding wall to allow for a breakout area to be created to support the needs of most business events.
There is a fully equipped catering kitchen that can be used by our preferred outside caterers to prepare food for functions and a second kitchen that can be hired if catering for your own event. We have a fully stocked bar and wine list which is provided staffed as part of our evening hire, and can also be hired during the day if requested.

The Laurence Walter Suite
This room has gym flooring that can be adapted for such uses as children’s parties, gym work or exercise classes. It can also be used as a second breakout room from the King’s Marsh Suite.

Grassroots Community Room
The Grass Roots and Community Pavilion has a large entrance foyer with toilets and disabled facilities, a kitchenette to support smaller events and functions, and a spacious classroom which has a carpeted floor. It offers wide patio style doors onto a raised area overlooking a large grassed area with trees beyond.
The room is suitable for Business meetings, presentations, lectures, social groups and Children’s activities and parties.
