AFC Sudbury v Chelmsford City
AFC Sudbury came up against Chelmsford City in the second game of the season in the National U19 League.
Sudbury started the game really well, they didn't allow the opposition any time on the ball and were clinical when they were on the attack. The first goal came from a good finish by Aaron Pengelly after a good pass from Callum Hemson. Callum Vincent then added a second, lifting the ball over the keeper from Tom Prentice's cross. They then added a third soon after as Aaron Pengelly calmly finished after being put through on goal. It was 3-0 at halftime.
The second half began with Sudbury determined to stay compact defensively and keep their clean sheet. Chelmsford did manage to create some chances but Aaron Bean made some good saves to keep the clean sheet. The game ended 3-0 to AFC Sudbury.
