Cambridge came out much the better team after half time and put the Sudbury goal under siege.

After fifty-eight minutes Sudbury took the lead when Megan Partridge hit a sublime shot from the left twenty-five yards out beating the keeper all ends up.

This fired up Cambridge and they hit the bar and Sudbury defended stoutly as shots fired in from the rebound.

The referee indicated four minutes added time, and in the fourth minute Sudbury lost possession in the centre circle, the ball was played out wide right, and the winger cut in and crossed into the six-yard box for their centre forward to tap in from three yards.

From the kick off the referee blew for full time.

Next up Bedford away in the League next Sunday.
