Ahead of the new 2012/13 season, Ryman League Division One North club Grays Athletic have announced two new additions to their squad, Leon Lalite and Jack West.

Midfielder, Leon Lalite started out his career with Barnet and Stevenage Borough, before moving on to Waltham Forest then Harlow Town in December 2003.

He’s had multiple spells at Harlow and Thurrock over the years, having last been attached to the Hawks, departing in March 2012 due to work commitments.

Jack West started last season with Tilbury before moving onto Heybridge Swifts in October having been on top goalscoring form. He returned to Chadfields in March 2012, where he saw out the season.

The 6’2″ forward started his footballing career at Barnet and Rushden & Diamonds as a junior, before moving on to Chelmsford City from 2002 to 2004, and Sheffield Hallam University FC from 2004 to 2007.

West’s other previous clubs Billericay Town, Brentwood Town and Redbridge.
