Goalkeeper Lamar Johnson and winger Luke Marshall have both signed for Ryman League Division One North club Grays Athletic this week.

Johnson, who put in a man-of-the-match display on Boxing Day of last year in Romford’s 2-1 win over Blues at Rookery Hill, has featured against Bowers & Pitsea and West Ham United in recent weeks. He also featured for Boro’s landlords Aveley towards the end of last season.

Joining up with his old Harlow Town colleagues Ryan Kirby and Leon Lalite, winger Luke Marshall also put pen to paper earlier in the week.

Marshall spent last season with The Hawks after joining them from Hertfordshire side Ware, for whom he played against Blues twice in the 2010/11 season, scoring in a 1-1 draw at Rookery Hill.

Further additions to the squad will be announced by the club in the coming days.
