The Leiston website reports that Harwich based Michael Brothers has departed Victory Road.

Michael joined the club from AFC Hornchurch in 2008 having previously been with AFC Sudbury and over the past four years has played under Jason Dozzell, Carl Chenery and Mark Morsley during a successful stay. An extremely popular player on and off the field to date, it is unsure of Michael’s next move but this should be announced next week.

In departing Michael added, “I’d like to thank the fans, Committee and everyone connected with Leiston FC over the past four years for making it a very special and rewarding time in my career. Everyone always made me and my family feel very welcome at the club and the fans have been unreal at times. I have loved my time immensely and I am gutted to be leaving but wish everyone at the club the very best”.
