AFC manager Chris Tracey added another player to his 2012/13 squad when he announced the signing of defender Eljay Worrell.

The Southend based player played last season with Tilbury, helping them into the play-offs, and the season prior to that he was with Grays Athletic. He has also played for Hullbridge Sports and Brentwood Town.

Tracey said “He will bring energy and enthusiast to the defence as well as a wealth of experience from his previous clubs”.
