A message from Clive Golding the Chairman of AFC Sudbury Grassroots.

AFC Ladies will be looking forward to their second season in the Eastern Region Womens League North.

Most of last season’s squad have re-signed, we have also signed Helena Brodie from Colchester United to play in goal, she recently toured Holland with the U’s not conceding a goal and winning the tournament.  We are very pleased Helena has signed for us.

Other additions are Stacey Teager and Vicky Studd who both played for Woodbridge Town Ladies last season in the ERWL Premier League. Hannah Bray will also be attending pre-season training, she has played for Thorpe United in the Premier League.

Charlotte Golding - Back

We also welcome back Marie Seabrook after her season out after knee surgery, and Charlotte Golding after her travelling exploits around the world.

Pre-season training starts Wedensday July 11th at the MEL Group Stadium starting at 7.15pm. Any females who are 16 years + are very welcome to come along.

Pre-season friendlies have been arranged against Chelmsford City Reserves on Sunday August 12th  and Silver End on Sunday August 19th both at home.

The season starts on Sunday 26th.
