Thamesmead Town have secured their first new signing for the 2012/13 season.

Rob Budd, who was Ilford’s goalkeeper last season, has agreed to join the Mead.

Budd was Ilford’s captain and even scored a goal for them last season.

His performances helped them to stay in the Ryman League Division One North and Keith McMahon the Thamesmead manager, is delighted to secure Budd as he begins in earnest his squad building for next season.
