Steve Adams

Should have wished AFC’s central defender Steve Adams a happy 22nd birthday yesterday, so belated congratulations.

A young central defender, (b 8/02/90) he joined the club from Long Melford in December 2008 to play reserve team football, he had a taste of first team football when he was named as a substitute on 17th January 2009. He remained with the club at the start of the 2009/10 season and was still there in April 2010. He re-signed again for the 2010/11 season and was still with the club in November 2010. At the end of the season he was the winner of  the Reserve Players Player of the Year. He continued with the club in 2011/12 and in September 2011 he was promoted to the first team squad.
