Ware have announced the arrival of striker Lewis Jones on loan from Ryman League Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley. 

The highly-rated front man played a key role in Wingate’s promotion-winning campaign last term, but has recently had an extended spell on the sidelines through injury. 

Jones has been playing for Wingate’s reserve team in recent weeks as he looks to get back to full fitness, and has now joined Ware on a month’s loan. 

Jones, who has previously played alongside Ware striker Ryan Mattos, made a goalscoring debut on Saturday as he netted the winner in Ware’s 1-0 victory over Romford.
