January 20, 2012 Tracey Announces Management Changes
AFC Sudbury manager Chris Tracey has annnounced a couple of changes to the club’s management structure following the departure last week of first team coach Jack Wignall.
Stepping up for the next few months or so is his reserve team manager Ian Manby who will help him out by becoming first team assistant manager. Ian has been with the club for a number of seasons and has experience that will be used by Tracey when needed.
The Reserve team will be taken over by their assistant manager Dave Walton and coming in to help him run the second team squad is FA Coach Rob ‘Scouse’ Munro.
Munro is a very experienced coach and has managed clubs such as Newmarket Town and Halstead town in the past and has recently returned from a coaching course for youngsters in the Gambia.
Of the changes Tracey said “Ian will be good to have around and I know he will be helpful in sharing some of the load. I know that ‘Walts ‘ can cope with the reserves, but Rob Munro is a well respected coach and will bring some fresh ideas to the club and be a great aide to everyone at AFC”.
