January 28, 2012 Improving Forest At The MEL

AFC Sudbury manager Chris Tracey will be hoping to celebrate his newly agreed contract extension with a home victory over the fast improving Waltham Forest.

Sam Clarke Back After Suspension

Tracey will be able to recall to his squad club captain Sam Clarke who has now completed his three match suspension. He is also hoping that he will be able to call upon the services of wide man Dave Wareham who has missed the last few games with a hamstring injury. Two players out with a similar injury problem are Richard Howell and Rhys Darg, the former however may be back sooner than previously thought. Ashley Sloots may well be back in the squad dependant upon his partners’ pregnancy progress. Also newly signed midfielder Luke Ingram may be able to play some part in the game.

The game will be the last for two weeks for midfielder Robbie Martin who starts a two match suspension, starting with next Saturday’s home game against Ware, this as a result of collecting ten yellow cards this season.

Tracey has been chasing another player in order to bolster his striking options, whether he is successful before the game remains to be seen.
