Richard Howell - Fifty Appearances

When AFC played at Cheshunt on Saturday it was the fiftieth appearance in a Sudbury shirt of Richard Howell.

The  popular midfield man has made those appearances in two spells with the club, the first time in season 2008/09 when he signed on a dual registration from Bishop’s Stortford he appeared twenty-one times and this season since signing from Hitchin Town he has made another twenty-nine.

In those fifty appearances he has scored thirteen times.

On Saturday he picked up a hamstring injury that means that he will probably take a few weeks before he adds to his AFC Sudbury appearances.
