Dundalk was his next stop where he won the league title in 1997/98 and 1998/99. At the start of the 1999/2000 season he started with St Patricks and played in the Champions League for them. He returned to England in March 2000 and played for Southport (3 apps 4 subs), and then signed for AFC in September 2000. In February 2001 hewas involved in a nasty incident in match at Mildenhall Town that resulted in him receiving serious facial injuries. They kept him out until the start of the start of season 2001/02 but he also had a knee problem that seemed to hold him back. He played onto the end of the season and then announced his retirement. In October 2008 he remained in the Sudbury area running his own roofing company and in January 2012 he was still doing it.
